Unheard Voices - Canada

The Canadian Slavery Project is a collaborative effort among writers who are crafting monologues and plays based on historical colonial fugitive slave advertisements in Canada. The project’s pinnacle will be a theatrical production titled “Unheard Voices,” where actors will vividly portray the untold stories of enslaved individuals in Canada, ensuring they are not relegated to obscurity.

Testimonial

“Murray-Mutch’s more serious delivery was a perfect match to Thompson’s more witty and light-hearted character. John Riley O’Handley’s performance as Greg is also worth pointing out as a great source of comedic relief to the apocalyptic atmosphere. On top of Hamilton references, like Copps Coliseum in addition to others, another element you won’t be able to miss is the camera work. The cinematography in Hammered 2.0 is exquisite and captures the characters, and the overall feeling of the piece of work so wonderfully. Even if you’ve never seen Hammered, the cinematography in Hammered 2.0 alone will leave you itching to keep watching to find out what happens next.”
